Carbon fiber and fiberglass body kits engineered for extreme off-road performance. Each part designed in AutoCAD, hand-laid, race-tested — by the team behind Romania's first Dakar campaign.
Every part starts as a CAD file and ends on a rally stage. We build in carbon fiber and fiberglass — lighter, stronger, and more precise than anything stock.
"Form follows function — whatever you build must be technically correct, and it must also be a pleasure to the eye."
Gabi Nicolae is the CEO and owner of Taifun Engineering, the atelier near Băneasa Airport in Bucharest where Typhoon Composites parts are born. He is also the Team Manager of Team Dakar Romania — the first Romanian team to campaign in the Dakar Rally.
His passion for engineering started at age 14 with a Mobra 50 — Romania's only homemade motorcycle. Over the next 26 years, that obsession evolved into building complete off-road and rally raid machines from scratch: CAD-designed, laser-cut, hand-fabricated.

"Gabi Nicolae's debut custom motorcycle build showcases the same precision engineering philosophy behind his Taifun workshop. 425 hours. CAD-designed. Every detail deliberate."
